Just enable the developers console, and use console command g_set_time. g_set_time doesn't force night time it moves the clock forwards. Great if you have fatigue off and no job. Not so good if you're on a job and just want it to be night time. Set "day_in_year: 358" in "/def/env_data.sii" and you'll have the shortest day in year. In the area around the house there is a place to sleep, a parking lot and a place for refueling the truck. In Euro Truck Simulator 2 it’s easy to install mods The drivers doesnt need to take breaks / sleep cause he gets tired (ie not able to keep eyes open, falling asleep behind the wheel). He have to take those breaks because of rules (to prevent drivers falling asleep at wheel). So this system IS realistic. Except, there are some exception not implemented in the game. .
